The 5th annual RUN TO THE TOP is May 4, 2013!

***ATTENTION TO ALL WHO PLAN TO ATTEND THE RUN TO THE TOP***
Due to circumstances beyond our control the parking lot at the monument will be closed the day of the event. If you are staying the night at The Harbor Hotel or plan to attend the after party please park at the the hotel. We will provide a free shuttle from the hotel starting at 2pm (pick up at front lobby area). Other options are to park at the town lots for a flat fee of $6. Town pier lot in the center of town where we will provide a free shuttle from also or town lot at the top of Bradford St. Hill/Prince St. where you could walk a short distance to the monument. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Please join us for the 5th annual Run to the Top to Benefit the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund.

The Run is a micro chip timed run to the top of the Pilgrim Monument to benefit the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund.

The monument stands 252 feet, 7.5 inches tall and rises 350 feet above sea level. The Monument consists of 116 stairs and 60 ramps. Most runners complete the run in about 4 minutes. The Pilgrim Monument is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States.

The event starts at 2pm with a walk to the top of the Monument. People who would like to walk have the time to be a part of the fundraiser from 2pm till 3:30pm. This is not timed and no awards will be given for walking. Then the Run begins at 4pm. The Firefighters will begin the event with the other categories to follow.

Categories are: firefighter, EMS, smokey bears, police, scouts/adventure & civilians.
